DIY Burlap Felting Pillow

Youll need: -a piece of burlap - 16 by 10 inches. I'm using a piece of a rice bag which is half burlap and half plastic, but a piece of 100% burlap works just fine. -2 pounds of rice -pins -sewing machine Pin about 1/2 inches in, around the edges.

Now sew along the pins, leaving a few inches open on one side.

Here's what it looks like after sewing. Turn right side out.

Flip the raw edges of the pillow in.

Pour in rice. This bad I'm making takes the whole 2 pounds of rice.

Pin as close to the rice as you can.

This is to make sure it'll fit into the sewing machine. Of course you can just hand sew this.

Here's my awesome sewing skills. Take out the pins and you're done!

Here it is, finished! (on the right) The other one is one I've been using for a while.

And now you can felt on it!
