I don’t have time to craft today because I have class ALL day.. so I thought I’d share another old craft. My friend had asked me to make a new shift boot for his car, and when he found the fabric he wanted, he handed me the fabric, which happened to be a bandanna, and the old shift boot, and I got to crafting.
They’re super simple to make.. it’s basically just two triangles sewed together. I can’t give a very specific tutorial unfortunately because not all shift boots are the same.

No way! I totally did that to my car when I was 18! That was 12 years ago! I was so pleased with the project! I am so happy to see you doing it here. Its a super cool way to make your car crafty handmade!
Thanks! It’s often overlooked.. people don’t really realize you can customize shift boots, but really it’s pretty easy!

Did you use elastic on the bottom or just tuck it in? I like this but unsure exactly how to measure and make for mine. Thanks.
It just tucks in.. I think you actually have to pop out the center first, then put the cover on, then put the center plastic back on, so it sandwiches the bottom of the cover in.. securing it.
