		<description>I like the idea as well as your daring to try something of this sort.
Thoughts that come to mind would be to check for color fastness, (likely after a shoe is dyed unfortunately; since a shoe really doesn&#039;t have a hidden spot you can test in advance). 
Check to see that the dry dye won&#039;t rub off on skin or clothing. 
Check that dye won&#039;t rub off if you accidently get them wet or damp in an unexpected rain.
I suspect this would be great on a canvas purse as well.
What about trying this with a tape resist for multiple colors or a pattern?</description>
